Charming Snakes

There are many snake charmers who claim that they can hypnotize a snake and make it dance by playing a musical instrument.

However these claims are false as the snakes are deaf and hence, are incapable of responding to sounds of any kind. But they are skilled at picking up the smallest vibration.

The snake charmer merely taps on the ground in time to the music he plays to make snake react. Once the snake’s attention is captured, the snake charmer moves his body while playing music.

The snake, whose eyes are fixed on the charmer, also moves in order to keep him in sight. This gives the impression that the snake is ‘dancing’.
