Ada King, Countess of Lovelace



Ada was a close colleague of Charles Babbage. She wrote the first algorithm while translating   an Italian article about the analytical engine. The algorithm would be considered a computer program.

 

Emmy Noether

 

 

Noether is responsible for abstract algebra. Now a days her work is used in the study of black hole.

 

Barbara McClintock

 

 

McClintock’s most important research is about the color patterns of maize kernels. The genetic loci responsible for genetic activation was discovered by McClintock.

Dorothy Hodgkin

 

 

In 1945 a steroid was structured successfully. After that Hodgkin published her findings on penicillin. After 9 years structure of B12 published by Hodgkin and her team using the findings about B12.
